What is TRUE Love?

How is love demonstrated?

To God?
He did not say, Love him with flowers, a bit of wine, dance, etc. He said to do it by keeping my commandments.
John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

To each other (neighbor)?
1John 5:2-3 By this we know that we love (ἀγαπάω agapao) the children of God (each other), when we love God, and keep his commandments. 3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.

How is love demonstrated to our enemy?
Matt 5:44 But I say unto you , Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Have you truly loved according to His commandments? If you have not studied or know the commandments, do you think you can even understand love?

Let me answer for you.... NO. What do you do? Get off the world "love" game and do it God's way..

My story about how this love page came about.
I asked my daughter, how do we as believers demonstrate love to other people? And her answer was not clear. I was surprised at her answer. You see, over the years I have shared with her what true love is, but she did not remember. Why? Simply, satan's influence keeps it far and out of people's minds. I will do a page sometime that explains satan's influence.
